Coolant does not work alone to vent the heat
Have you ever wondered that once the key is tuner into the ignition then what happens? There is an exhaust valve through which the some heat comes out along with some released gases through the exhaust valve.But some amount of heat fails to vent out and is absorbed by the engine which increase hi temperature. The operating range temperature is maintained by the coolant as it absorbs the heat of the engine.
Does the coolant work alone?
The answer is No! It does not work alone as there is an entire cooling system fixed to the car that supports the coolant to perform its work properly.This cooling system includes coolant reservoir, radiator, fan, water pump, and thermostat and heater core. So once the engine starts the coolant is pumped to its area around the engine through the pump. The coolant is pumped from the lower radiator tank into the into the coolant pump. So once the supply is maintained throughout the cylinders through coolant passage the heated water is vented for the radiator where it gets cool again to get ready to run through the coolant passage again to absorb the heat.
In simple language it can be explained that the heat vent of all the engines is done through the absorption of the heat absorbed by the coolant continuously flowing through the chamber about the cylinders then this hot water is supplied back to the radiator.
The work of a thermostat is that it blocks the flow of the coolant water pumped through the chambers until its temperature reaches 200 to 250 degree Celsius.
Meanwhile if the
heater core is switched on then it works as a mini radiator that transfers the
heat of the through air into the passenger’s compartment.So once the water
enters the radiator the fan is actuated by the thermostat switch. There are the
flat tubes in the radiator that allows the coolant to run down and while doing
